Hitachi Energy is hiring a Production Engineer in Savli, Gujarat to manage and assist with various production activities including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, and packaging.
As an Entry Professional (P1), the candidate will apply broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced engineering education. The work is closely supervised, and the role involves explaining facts, policies, and practices related to the job area while gradually building hands-on production experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Hitachi Energy Safety and Quality standards in the production line
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures
- Handle production planning and set daily/weekly/monthly objectives
- Communicate targets to blue-collar, white-collar, and contract employees
- Drive a continuous improvement culture using 6S and Six Sigma methodologies
- Coordinate with planning & order handling to ensure on-time delivery to customers
- Work closely with purchase and stores teams for timely material availability
- Ensure in-process quality checks and skill certification of blue-collar employees
- Work on productivity improvement initiatives
- Prepare KPI reports on performance and progress
- Identify efficiency gaps and work on process improvements
- Take ownership of the complete production line — from manufacturing to packing and dispatch
Qualification and Skills Required

- Relevant experience preferred (Entry Level role)
